Teja was once a brand name. Ranu Ranu missed his mark. Being accustomed to a stereotype, they are not able to offer something new to the audience. Narratives of non-violence failed to impress. The only thing worth mentioning is the heroine's performance. Such a start was unexpected for a debut Hero.

Ahimsa movie Review : Daggubati Ramanaidu's grandson Abhiram is introduced as the Hero of the film Ahimsa. Directed by sensational director Teja of yesteryear. Ahimsa movie which was postponed for a long time released today. And let's see how Daggubati Varasudu's debut movie is….
Raghu(Abhiram) was a firm believer in the doctrine of non-violence. Raghu's Maradalu Ahalya (Geetika Tiwari) means life. Ahalya also likes her brother-in-law Raghu very much. So family members want to marry them. On the day of her engagement to Raghu, Ahalya's life takes an unexpected turn. The incident that shattered the lives of Raghu and Ahalya makes Raghu abandon his doctrine of non-violence. What is that event? Was Raghu's fight successful? Or? That's the rest of the story…
Director Teja is one of the trendsetters of Tollywood. He owns the incident of hitting industry hits with newcomers. His debut movie is a new age love drama while Nuvve Nuvve and Jayam are intense love dramas. But his stories are the same. Adults resisting children's love. The formula worked out at first but not later. Jayam's magic was never repeated. Due to this, political thrillers have been made lately.
Teja, who once succeeded in telling the story entertainingly, has lost it. Ahimsa can be said to be the worst movie of his films. He puts the audience's patience to the test by adding an outdated screenplay to the old story. The love of brothers-in-law but the Hero's revenge and fight against the villains could not attract interest. The audience starts getting impatient soon after the movie starts. There is not a single scene where the audience gets involved.
It is surprising that Suresh Babu, who has given amazing films as a producer, chose this kind of story for his son's debut movie. Also Abhiram needs to mature in his acting. There are some impressive aspects in Ahimsa movie which are the performance of heroine Geetika Tiwari and senior heroine Sada. Both of them are a bit of relief for the audience. RP Patnaik's Songs and BGM are also not pleasing. Build values are good. Overall, director Teja once again disappointed the audience. He betrayed his trust.
