AP BJP: Not finding candidates for BJP in AP? Otherwise the competition is high and the candidates are not finalized? The process of adjustment of alliances and seats has been completed. But BJP's inability to announce candidates so far is drawing criticism. As part of the alliance, the BJP won 10 assembly seats and six parliamentary seats. But even though days are passing by, there is a delay in finalizing the candidates. The other partner parties are having trouble with BJP's behavior. TDP and Jana Sena are unable to decide on some seats. The party lines in those constituencies are unhappy with the pending election. They are worried because YSP is tightening its grip there.
BJP is unable to finalize 16 candidates but there are reasons for this. BJP has pro-TDP and pro-YCP leaders. The pro-YCP leaders who wanted an alliance with Telugu Desam Party tried till the end. But failed in that regard. But such leaders are not getting tickets now. That is why they are annoying. Complaints are being made to the high command. This will affect the selection of candidates. It is getting tougher day by day. Many aspirants are waiting especially in the case of the competition for the Parliament seats. There are no strong candidates for assembly seats. Due to this BJP is not able to finalize the candidates.
As part of the alliance, BJP got Araku, Vizianagaram, Anakapalli, Rajahmundry, Narasapuram and Tirupati Lok Sabha seats. But these are not all acceptable to the BJP. The Pro-YCP leaders have complained to the high command that Telugu Desam has allocated only weak seats. This is also a reason for delay. On the other hand, BJP is also asking for seats allotted to Jana Sena. Like Vijayawada West Constituency is being held. This has become a problem. Telugu Desam Party is yet to declare only five Assembly seats and four Parliament seats. The reason for this is that BJP is holding on to some seats. The BJP, which says that it will play a bigger role in the alliance as a whole, is facing criticism for not being able to finalize its party's candidates.
