BRS vs Congress: Congress is tightening its hold in Karimnagar Corporation. Besides staying away from power for ten years, local MLA Gangula Kamalakar was a minister in the previous government. Ruled the police with a wink. From the corporators to the Chotamota leaders, the minister was agitated. Common people were forcibly robbed of their property. If vacant land is found, disputes are created and raids are done in the name of settlement. But, as the results of the assembly elections were reversed, the scene was reversed.

Police started hunting..

All these years police officers worked here as much as the minister said. CP Subbarayudu was accused by EC of working in favor of BRS during assembly elections. With this, Abhishek Mahanty took charge as CP. With his arrival, the whole scene changed. During Gangula's tenure as a minister, the BRS leaders who committed occupations, atrocities and invasions are being blamed. After the change of government in the state, the victims of BRS went to Hyderabad Praja Bhavan and complained. State level officials are sending complaints to Karimnagar CP. With this, Abhishek Mahanty, who entered the field, is hunting BRS leaders. A special sit has been set up for the occupation leaders and many complaints are being received. A special investigation is being conducted and evidence is being collected. After confirming the irregularities, cases are registered and arrests are made. Two corporators and several leaders have already been arrested and sent to jail.
