Elevated Corridors: The difficulties faced by the people of North Telangana to go to the capital Hyderabad for years will soon be removed. Defense Department has allocated land to the state government for the construction of elevated corridors. With this, the government took steps to start the work immediately. CM Revanth Reddy will perform Bhumi Puja on Thursday (March 7) for the construction of elevated corridors on the Hyderabad-Ramagundam road with a cost of Rs.2,232 crores. This was established near Tims in Alwal.
11.3 km long.. Arulanes..
This huge elevated corridor will be constructed with a length of 11.3 km. The construction will be done with six lanes. Entry and exit ramps will be constructed. This will solve the problems of motorists in Secunderabad. The transport facility from Karimnagar side to the capital will be improved. Hyderabad-Ramagundam Rajiv Road will get a major boost.
With the transfer of protected lands..
The Ministry of Defense has recently agreed to hand over the lands belonging to the Department to the State Government. On January 5, CM Revanth Reddy along with Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi handed over a letter asking permission for the construction of an elevated corridor across defense lands. The Center has allocated lands for this purpose. CM Revanth Reddy thanked Prime Minister Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. On the other hand, the state government is ready for the construction of corridors. As a part of this, the authorities have planned to construct a 11.3 km long corridor from Paradise to Hakeempet on the Rajiv Road.
Transfer of 83 acres..
CM Revanth Reddy appealed to the Defense Minister that the state needs 83 acres of land. He said that a total of 18.30 kilometers of elevated corridor has been proposed from Paradise Junction near Kandlakoya to Outer Ring Road on Nagpur Highway (NH-44). Out of which, 56 acres of Defense Department land has been requested to be transferred for the construction of 12.68 km of 3-lane elevated corridor, exits and entries in four areas, double-decker (for metro) corridor in future and other constructions. With the handing over of land by the Defense Department, the road has been paved for the expansion of roads towards North Telangana.
For those three joint districts..
With the construction of the elevated corridor, the transport facility to the joint districts of Nizamabad, Adilabad and Karimnagar will be improved. The traffic problem which has become the most troublesome in Secunderabad will be removed. With the construction of this corridor, the Greater City will develop towards the north.
Resolution of previous government..
To solve the traffic problem in Secunderabad, the previous BRS government decided to construct skyways on Rajiv Road and National Highway No. 44 under the cantonment. A resolution has been passed in the cabinet. A resolution has been sent to the Central Defense Department to this effect. Finally the Defense Department gave permission. Earlier 33 acres were given, but recently 150 acres have been allotted.
