IAS Praveen Prakash: Senior IAS officer Praveen Prakash from AP has taken VRS. Voluntary retirement after seven years of service. Praveen Prakash VRS has been approved by the government. CS Nirab Kumar Prasad issued the notification. Praveen Prakash applied for VRS on 25th of last month. The government has given the latest approval. And he has seven years of service. However, voluntary retirement is surprising. It has become a topic of discussion. Praveen Prakash VRS will come into effect from September 30, it has been mentioned in the CS notification.

Praveen Prakash was instructed to report to the General Administration Department after the TDP alliance came to power. Controversy erupted after Praveen Prakash applied for VRS. He has digitally signed the application without signing it. The government said that this signature was invalid, so they applied again. Actually he was transferred on 19th of last month. But no posting was given. In this background, he also made a fuss on social media. Reels were also made on Instagram. Videos of him performing to Hindi Songs at the villa and temple where he resides along the Krishna river went viral.

Praveen Prakash has been criticized for sticking with the YCP government. There are also allegations regarding some tenders and contracts. There has been criticism that teachers and education officials have been threatened. But after the coalition government came to power, there was a rumor that Praveen Prakash would take steps towards VRS. On the other hand, the campaign was also running vigorously that he would contest the election from his own state Uttar Pradesh. But it is remarkable that he is leaning towards VRS.
