IOCL: Indian Army has partnered with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) to provide a green and sustainable transport solution. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Army and IOCL on Monday (May 27) in the presence of Army Chief General Manoj Pandey and Indian Oil Chairman Shrikant Madhav Vaidya. In one event, a hydrogen fuel cell bus was created in collaboration with the Indian Army.

Economic analysts believe that this marks the beginning of a mutually beneficial partnership between the Indian Army and IOCL. By fostering creativity, the MoU emphasizes that it will advance sustainable transport solutions for the future.' The Ministry of Defense of India said.

A pilot project is being set up at Chushul where green hydrogen-based micrograms will provide 24×7 clean power to soldiers deployed in uninhabitable terrain and extreme weather conditions, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Focusing on innovation and environmental responsibility, the Indian Army has made it clear that the passage of a hydrogen fuel cell bus between IOCL represents a significant step forward. This will pave the way for cleaner, greener transport solutions, the Defense Ministry said.
