Janasena Glass Symbol: Janasena has become a key in AP politics. The Telugu Desam Party felt that the Jana Sena was necessary to defeat the strong YCP. That's why it allied with that party. At the same time, Jana Sena is a partner of NDA. On the one hand, Pawan is trying for BJP by making an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party. He is the link between TDP and BJP. Those two parties are also giving proper respect to Pawan. There are signs that the three parties will meet. It was exactly at this time that the Janasena ran into another difficulty. It is remarkable that a petition has been filed in the High Court expressing objections to the party symbol.
Jana Sena did not contest in 2014 elections. It supported BJP at the center and TDP at the state. She contested in the last election. Candidates of that party contested in more than 130 constituencies across the state. At that time, according to the request of the Janasena, a glass was allocated. However, the party did not get the expected votes as per EC rules. With this, the election commission added the glass symbol allotted to Jana Sena in the free symbol. With this, there is a possibility that the party will get a glass glass only in the constituencies contested by Janasena. In other places, independent candidates also have a chance to allot glass. With this, Janasena submitted a special application on December 12 last year. She appealed to her party to keep the Gaju Glass symbol. With this, the EC issued a special order allotting the glass mark only to the Jana Sena.
However, Rajahmundry-based Rashtriya Praja Congress Secular Party president applied to the EC on December 20 last year, seeking to allot the Gaju Glass symbol to them. The EC has already taken a decision by allotting the glass symbol to the Janasena. Challenging this, the leader filed a petition in the High Court. They objected that glass was allotted to Janasena who applied after them instead of them. The Supreme Court of the State responded to this. The Election Commission has sought an explanation. The EC mentioned that Rashtriya Praja Congress Secular Party had applied on December 20 that they have allocated the symbol to Janasena on December 12, 2023 as per the request of Janasena. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the High Court ordered to file a counter by attaching the application given by the Janasena. The next hearing has been adjourned to 13th of this month. But we have to see what kind of verdict will come on this symbol. Meanwhile, the ranks of the Jana Sena are worried.
