Ranjith Reddy, the sitting Member of Parliament from Chevella seat, who was given a ticket by KCR in the last parliamentary election before Kavya, got down from the car and left recently. Joined the Congress party and contested from Chevella seat. Kadiam Kavya, who is contesting from the Warangal Parliament seat after Ranjith Reddy, is also taking the path of the Congress, which is disturbing the pink ranks. Not only these but also many of the candidates who got parliamentary ticket from Bharat Rashtra Samithi seem to be in touch with Congress leaders.
Political analysts give various reasons for Kavya's resignation. It seems that the reason for Kavya's resignation is the situation in the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi, especially under the Warangal parliamentary constituency. Actually Warangal Parliament ticket was expected by the then president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi Warangal and former MLA of Vardhannapet Aruri Ramesh. After he lost in the assembly elections, he thought to contest for the parliament seat. Another senior leader, Kadiam Srihari, expressed the idea of bringing his daughter Kavya into politics before KCR. Pressure was put on KCR to give Warangal MP ticket to his daughter. Aruri Ramesh, who knew these developments in advance, prepared to join the BJP. After that many dramatic developments took place in the Rashtra Samithi of India. KCR announced that he will give ticket to Ramesh. But Ramesh rejected the offer. “Even if you give a ticket, the local leaders will not help me. In that case, I cannot destroy my political future,” said Ramesh. Joined BJP and is contesting as Warangal MP candidate.
KCR announced Kadyam Kavya as the Warangal parliamentary candidate on March 13 after Ramesh walked out. Afterwards, Kavya is meeting the representatives of the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi from across the joint district. He wants to support himself. Warangal sitting MP Pasunuri Dayakar joined Congress party along with his followers on 16th of this month after KCR gave ticket to Kavya. Soon after he joined, Aruri Ramesh joined the BJP in the presence of Union Minister Kishan Reddy. This caused concern among the leaders of the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi.
