Khanapur: A young woman has fallen victim to the poison of a lover. He killed a young woman with an ax in broad daylight. He attacked another young woman and a three-year-old boy who tried to stop him. This tragic incident took place in Khanapur of Nirmal district on Thursday (February 8). Alekhya (23), daughter of Shetpelli Gangavva-Gangaram of Ambedkarnagar Colony in Khanapur town, along with her daughter-in-law Jayashila and grandson Ryans, went to tailoring training in the town on Thursday morning. While returning home in the afternoon, Jukindi Srikanth, a youth from the same colony, chased them. On reaching the main road to Dilawarpur, he attacked Alekhya with a sharp weapon. She collapsed there. He then hacked him to death in front of everyone watching. Stunned, Alekhya attacked Jayashila and her son Rians. Alekhya died on the spot. Then he ran away from there.
