Kia recently released a new EV3 electric SUV. This is the SUV coming after EV9, EV6 and EV5. Like its previous models, it is also based on the E-GMP modular platform. This car is equipped with advanced facilities including interior.

This EV3 electric car will be launched in the South Korean market in the first week of June, 2024. Representatives of Kia Motors say that it will be launched in Europe in late 2024 and Asian market in early 2025. The company aims to sell 2 lakh EV3 units worldwide.

The EV3 features a 12-inch head-up display, ambient lighting, digital displays, Harman Kardon sound system, ADAS suite. It has an AI assistant. The EV3 is the only Kia car with this feature. The company plans to roll out this feature to other EVs in a phased manner soon.
This car has 2 battery pack options. The standard model comes with a 58.3 kilowatt battery pack, while the long-range variant comes with an 81.4 kilowatt battery pack. This electric car comes in 2 versions with front axle mounted electric motor. It generates 201 bhp of power and 283 Nm of torque. This car reaches the speed of 100 kmph in 7.5 seconds.
The maximum speed of this EV is confirmed to be 170 km per hour. This version is said to travel up to 600 km range. It takes 31 minutes to charge the battery from 10 to 80 percent with 400 volt current. The car has 460 liters of boot space, plus 25 liters of frunk (space at the front of the car).
The car's flush door handles and large glass house give an extra look to its side profile. The electric compact SUV features a sloping roof line, vertical tail lamps, dual tone bumper, rear spoiler, trapezoidal creases in the front and rear fenders. Along with these there are advanced features.
The EV3 has GT line variants. These come with sportier bumpers. In terms of dimensions, the EV measures 34,300 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, 1,560 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,680 mm. The price of this car may range from $35,000 to $50,000 (roughly Rs. 30 lakh to Rs. 42 lakh).
