Killi Krupa Rani: Goodbye to the former Union Minister for YCP | Telugu News

Killi Krupa Rani

Killi Krupa Rani: Former Union Minister Dr. Killi Krupa Rani took a crucial decision. He announced that he was leaving YCP. She entered politics with the encouragement of YS Rajasekhar Reddy. In 2004, Rajasekhar Reddy joined the Congress party during the Padayatra. He defeated the political giant Kinjarapu Errannaidu and became a giant killer. He was appointed Union Minister of State during the UPA II government. When Anathi entered politics, he got rare opportunities. But due to the division of the state, the Congress party was hit. Due to the delay in joining YCP, she lost her chance. She joined the YCP before the last election and did not get any opportunities. Political insults were faced. With this Kriparani left the party.

For the first time in 2004, he contested for the Srikakulam Parliament seat on behalf of the Congress party. TDP candidate Kinjarapu gave Errannaidu a tough fight. Despite losing that election, the Congress party came to power. In 2009, for the second time, he contested from the Srikakulam parliamentary seat as a candidate of the Congress party. Unexpected success was achieved. He has also achieved recognition at the national level. With this, he got the post of Minister of State for Communication in the UPA 2 government. The Congress party has suffered badly in AP due to the bifurcation of the state. However, Kriparani did not leave the Congress party. He contested the 2014 election as a Congress candidate for the third time.

However, due to negative results for Congress across the country, Kriparani joined YCP before the last elections. As the candidates have already been announced, Jagan has promised to provide a suitable position if the party comes to power. He joined YCP with that hope. The reins of the district party were taken. He has been working hard for the development of the party. During the MLC and Rajya Sabha elections, Kriparani's name was heard strongly. But there is an allegation that a senior minister from the same district used to obstruct Dharmana. Once when CM Jagan came to Srikakulam district, Kriparani was stopped by the police officials. But she openly accused Dharmana Prasada Rao of being behind it. Kriparani did not get a ticket anywhere in this election. Duvvada Srinivas and Perada Tilak, who were juniors to him, got tickets. But they showed a stubborn hand to Kriparani. She felt that staying in YCP is not good. That's why they decided to leave the party.

It seems that Kriparani will join the Congress party. It is reported that she has received an invitation from the top leadership of the Congress party. Kriparani hopes to field her son from the Srikakulam Parliament seat and Tekkali Assembly seat. It seems that she said goodbye to YCP only after the Congress leadership approved that condition. It is reported that she is moving with the main objective of defeating YCP. Callings are high in Srikakulam Parliament constituency. Perada Tilak is contesting as YCP candidate from there. Duvvada Srinivas is in the fray as YCP candidate from Tekkali Assembly seat. These two leaders belong to the Kalinga community. Now by contesting Kriparani there will be split of votes in that social class. This will be an embarrassing development for the ruling party.
