The company claims that the new Swift technology is an unmatched combination of the standard. The Swift is powered by a 1.2 liter Z-series mild hybrid engine. The company claims that it is more fuel efficient than the previous car. It produces 82 HP of power and 108 Nm of torque. Along with a manual gearbox, the engine is mated to a CVT transmission. The company claims that it returns a mileage of 24.8 kmpl in its manual variants, 25.75 kmpl in the AMT variants.
Coming to the features, the new Swift has a 9-inch touch screen, 6-speaker Arcamis audio system, automatic AC with rear vent, wireless phone charging, cruise control, push-button start/stop, Connect.

The company has taken care of the safety of the customers in the new Swift as compared to the previous models. It comes with 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts with reminder for front and rear seat belts, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA).
