In this order, the government has taken up the process of receiving applications to provide financial assistance to the students who are going to study abroad from Telangana through the foreign education fund scheme this year. SC students can apply from August 14. October 13 has been fixed as the final date. It is known that the Telangana government has brought the Ambedkar Foreign Education Fund scheme for SC students to study abroad. A key update has been given in this regard. The annual income of the student applying under this scheme should be less than Rs.5 lakh only. In this scheme, you can go to America, Canada, Germany, France, UK, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand. If you are selected for this scheme, you can get a stipend of up to Rs.20 lakh. This scheme is applicable only for one person from the family. Must have passed 60% in graduation. Must have qualifying score in GRE/GMAT. Students selected for this scheme will be given financial assistance up to a maximum of Rs.20 lakhs. One way air travel expenses are paid along with visa charges.
20 percent weightage..
And the score obtained by the student will have 20 percent weightage in the foreign student fund scheme. 20% is given for TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. Score will be considered in merit list selection. Even if the score is not taken into account in the universities for admission abroad, they must be mentioned at the time of application.
