Revanth – Chandrababu : Supreme Court shock for Revanth, Chandrababu..

Revanth – Chandrababu : Taking bribes is a crime not only in our country but anywhere in the world. But some government employees cannot work without taking them. There are systems like ACB to catch such people. And there are no systems in our country to catch politicians who take bribes. That is why politicians act according to their will. They earn indirectly. They put the systems in their hands. In this context, the Supreme Court on Monday issued a key verdict that constitutional protection cannot be provided to MPs and MLAs in bribery cases. In fact, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's vote banknote issue and former AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's skill development scam are similar cases. Trinamool Congress MP faced similar allegations for asking questions in Amadhya Parliament. Revanth Reddy and Nara Chandrababu Naidu got a shock after the Supreme Court's sensational verdict.

A seven-member bench headed by Supreme Court judge Justice DY Chandra Choud delivered a key verdict in the MP and MLA bribery case on Monday. In the case of late Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, the majority of the lawyers gave a verdict providing immunity. But the judgment was overturned by the Supreme Court headed by Chandra Chud. Such people should stand as a symbol of democracy. Moreover, the Supreme Court bench declared that the function of Indian democracy should not be destroyed by accepting bribes. “How does a public representative take a bribe? Was she elected as a representative to take bribes? It is not right to take bribe and speak in the Legislature or Lok Sabha. “It is not the right thing to vote after getting used to such things,” Justices AS Bopanna, MM Sundarish, JB Pardiwala, Sanjay Kumar and Manoj Mishra said in the Supreme Court bench.

The bench headed by DY Chandra Choudh opined that the judgment given by the court in PV Narasimha Rao's case, which exempted the MLA on the allegations of taking bribe for vote or speech in the past, had far-reaching consequences. But it has been announced that it is being cancelled. The Supreme Court bench opined why MLAs and MPs should be exempted from performing legislative duties. The bench headed by Chandrachud declared that the judgment given by the Supreme Court at that time in the PV Narasimha Rao case was contrary to 105/194. It is suggested that MLAs and MPs should remember the legislative powers. The power does not mean to act in a cross way.. It is clear that such powers also exist in the legislature. The bench opined that Article 105/194 has tried to create a free environment for the members. Corruption is the scourge of the king. Taking bribes by legislators destroys parliamentary functioning and the greatness of democracy. The Supreme Court bench stated that the judgment given by them will also apply to the Rajya Sabha. The Supreme Court has announced that if MLAs take bribes to vote in Rajya Sabha elections, that too will come under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
