Slumdog Husband Review: Actor Brahmaji's son Sanjay Rao's second attempt as a Hero is Slumdog Husband. Earlier, Sanjay Rao acted in O Pitta Katha. This time he chose bold content with variety. Pranavi Manukonda is the heroine and directed by AR Sridhar. Let's see how this movie released on July 29..
Story:
Laksh (Sanjay Rao) loves Maunika. This aged couple has sex with conversations on the phone. If they find a way, this love couple who want to flirt will get ready for marriage. Even adults agree. But there is a snag in their marriage. The birthdays of both are unknown. So what are their horoscopes? Do they converge or not? Doubt arises. It is said that if the horoscopes do not match, there is a risk of death of the elders if they get married. As compensation, first marry a tree or an animal. Scholars advise you not to marry later.
So Lakshman marries a dog. But the owner of the dog turns against Lakshman. He leaves his dog and files a case of illegal marriage. With that, the marriage of Lakshman and Maunika will stop. Analysis:
Some directors are trying to laugh by weaving a story around a silly point. Jati Ratnalu movie success is an example of this. There is no story to be told in that movie. Jathi Ratnalu movie is a collection of three idle boys and their life events. Slum Dog Husband seems to have been shot in a similar format.
Legal problems arise for the Hero who marries a dog. It turns out that getting rid of that dog is not that easy. In this sequence, they tried to tell the hyrana that the Hero falls into as a comic. The phone conversations between the Hero and the heroine connect with the youth of this generation. In other words, this is what many lovers do.
The scenes and dialogues written by the director are somewhat funny. The court scenes between Saptagiri and Brahmaji are also not to be missed. Marrying a dog and facing legal action is a subject that has not been touched on in the past. Comedy worked out here and there.
Sanjay Rao gets pass marks as an actor. Heroine Pranavi Manukonda hooked the audience with her performance. Build values are good. No music, no cinematography, no editing. But there are things that a section of audience likes. Comedy is not fully developed. It would have been better if the director had worked more on this. Also logicless scenes have increased. It is far from reality for the owner to go to court for the dog. Where the comedy works out are the scenes that feel silly.
Plus Points:
Heroine performance
A delightful comedy here and there
