There are problems in some constituencies and they are being solved. On the whole, it seems that the two parties are moving forward with a firm strategy in the case of Uttarandhra.
TDP – Jana Sena : All parties have increased focus on Uttarandhra. Uttarandhra is being made a platform for political activities. After receiving the PCC reins, Sharmila started her tours from Ichapuram. Recently Lokesh also started Sankharavasabhas from Ichchapuram. On the other hand, Mega Brother Nagababu is inquiring about the status of the party in Uttarandhra. He is currently on Visakha tour. It is known that the Yuva Galam Vijayotsava Sabha was organized in Polipalli of Vizianagaram district. Along with Chandrababu, Pawan and Lokesh attended this meeting. In response to this, AP CM Jagan has started an election campaign meeting from Bhimili constituency. It is remarkable that all the political parties are trying to hold on to Uttarandhra.
Uttarandhra has 34 assembly constituencies. There are 175 constituencies across the state. 20 percent of the seats are in the three joint districts of Uttar Andhra. That is why the parties are trying to gain a foothold here. People of North Andhra have been standing behind the party since the inception of TDP. But the Telugu Desam Party was badly damaged in the last election. Limited to six seats for 34 assembly constituencies. That too, TDP won only four seats in Visakhapatnam and two seats in Srikakulam. YCP has almost done a sweep with 28 seats.
That is why TDP and Jana Sena have focused here. After his Padayatra ended with Visakha, Lokesh started Sankharava Sabhas from Srikakulam district. Around these 34 constituencies will be covered. And Mega Brother Nagababu is also touring Visakhapatnam. Special meetings are being held with the party ranks. It is suggested to coordinate with TDP leaders. It seems that all these are attempts to gain control over Uttarandhra.
In the 2014 elections, the Telugu Desam Party won 25 seats in Uttarandhra. YCP is limited to 9 seats. That is why TDP and Janasena hope to win more than 30 seats in Uttarandhra this time. However, YCP is strong in ST constituencies under the Araku parliamentary seat. There are seniors like Dharmana Prasada Rao and Botsa Satyanarayana. With this, both the parties made strategies to tie them all together and make the TDP and Jana Sena alliance dominant. That is why Lokesh has decided to organize his Shankharava Sabhas in almost all the constituencies of Uttarandhra. On the other hand, Nagababu focused on strengthening Janasena in Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts along with Visakha. Clear instructions are being given to the Jana Sena party ranks to work with the TDP ranks. There are problems in some constituencies and they are being solved. On the whole, it seems that the two parties are moving forward with a firm strategy in the case of Uttarandhra.
