Telangana Cabinet Meeting 2024: The Telangana State Cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Thursday (August 1). The cabinet took many important decisions in this meeting. KCR government has decided to change the name of Dharani portal to Bhumata. And the cabinet has said OK to the job calendar that the unemployed are waiting for. Good news is also given to the poor who have been waiting for ration card in Telangana for ten years. It has been decided to issue new ration cards. The cabinet has decided to issue Arogyasree cards independently of the ration card.
These are the decisions of the cabinet.
– The Cabinet approved the Young India Skill University Bill.
– The cabinet has approved the release of Rs. 437 crores for Gauravelli project in Husnabad constituency.
– Boxer Nikhat Zareen, cricketer Siraj, house plots, Group-1 level government job. It was decided to give each of them a house plot of 600 yards in Hyderabad.
– It has been decided to form a cabinet sub-committee for the merger of outer villages in GHMC. Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Sitakka and Sridhar Babu will be members of this committee.
– Cabinet approval for new ration cards. It has been decided to form a committee under the chairmanship of Minister Uttam to finalize the procedures related to this. Members include Ponguleti and Damodara Rajanarsimha.
– The government will release the job calendar in the assembly tomorrow (Friday).

Kodandaram and Ameer Ali Khan as MLCs in Governor's quota
After the Cabinet meeting, Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy disclosed the decisions taken in the meeting. He said that the Cabinet has decided to recommend to the Governor to appoint Kodandaram and Amir Ali Khan as MLCs in the Governor's quota. He said that the job calendar will be announced in the assembly tomorrow (Friday). He revealed that the cabinet has decided to give white ration cards and Arogya Sri cards separately to those who are eligible. Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy will form a sub-committee for ration cards with Damodara Rajanarasimha and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy as members. It is stated that Hari Ratan, son of DIG Rajiv Ratan, who died in the line of duty recently, has been given the job as Municipal Commissioner. Goravelli said that the Cabinet has decided to give funds for the project.
