Telangana High Court: City not known, name not known. The then Chandrababu Naidu government believed that the company would build sports grounds. Agreed to allocate lands horizontally. It is ready to hand over 800 acres of land, not one, but two. Now the value of those lands in the open market is up to 50 thousand crores. Regarding those lands, Chandrababu's government allocated 800 acres at the rate of 50,000 per acre. Chandrababu's government was defeated in the elections that followed.. YS Rajasekhar Reddy's government was formed.. That land deal was canceled by Rajasekhar Reddy's government. What happened next..

In 2003..

Chandrababu Govt.. In 2003, when a company called IMG Bharat said that they would build excellent sports grounds in the suburbs of Hyderabad, they said OK. IMG India head Ahobi Rao alias Billy Rao announced that the grounds will be prepared to host the Olympic Games. The government also allocated lands without inquiring about the organization. It also allocated 400 acres belonging to the Central University in Gachibowli, Sheri Lingampalli Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, and 450 acres in Mamidipalli, Sarur Nagar Mandal, which is closest to the airport. 50,000 per acre was allotted to IMG India by the then Chandrababu government. Chandrababu Naidu's government lost the election just a few days after signing this agreement. After that, the Congress government was formed under the leadership of YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

After the formation of Congress government..

After the formation of the Congress government, the previous government canceled the agreement with IMG India. The government questioned how all these acres of land will be allotted to a company that has no experience. The then Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu strongly opposed the decision. IMG approached the High Court of India challenging the annulment of the land agreement signed under the previous government. The case has been going on since then. In fact, in 2003, the price of an acre there was up to 10 crores. Despite the price, the then government allocated only 50,000 per acre to the company. It is remarkable that the High Court upheld the decision of the YS Rajasekhar Reddy government and issued an order after long arguments. Since 2006, the case remained in status quo in the court. After all these years, the High Court upheld the decision of the then government. Due to this, thousands of crores of land has been acquired by the government. This verdict is not going down well with the TDP ranks in the context of the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh. It is being propagated by pro-YCP social media section.
