TS DSC Notification 2024: Mega DSC notification released in Telangana. The education department has released a notification with 11,062 posts. The government has made it clear that only DED candidates should apply for SGT posts in this DSC. It has been said that those who have done BED and qualified in TET Paper-2 are not eligible for SGT. All those who have done BED are eligible for school assistant posts only, it said. According to the directions given by the Supreme Court earlier, the Education Department has formulated these procedures.
Appointment as follows..Policy of appointment
The written exam in DSC carries 80 marks. Tet weightage is 20 percent. TS, AP TET and Kendra TET will be considered. Applicants for the post of School Assistant should have a degree from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks (45% for SC, ST, BC). Must have passed BED. Final year BED candidates must have passed TET Paper 2 with certificate by the time of recruitment. Linguists, PETs and subject teachers should have done BED with the respective subjects. Candidates applying for SGT posts should have completed Intermediate (40% for reservation candidates) with 50% marks. Must have done DD with two years duration and four years special education. Paper-1 should pass TET. Linguists, PETs should have DED in relevant subjects.
Applications begin..
On March 4, the government issued the DSC notification and started the application process. Applications will be accepted till 3rd April. For those applying for the posts of secondary grade teachers, this time the reservation candidates have been given a relaxation of 5 marks in the eligibility of new inter marks. Those who have passed TET and are in the final year of BED and D.D. can also apply for DSC.
Age limit
Applicants for Mega DSC should be between 18-46 years of age. Must have been born before 7th July, 2005. Those born on or after 2nd July 1977 are considered as upper age limit. The maximum age relaxation is 5 years for government employees, 3 years for ex-servicemen and 10 years for disabled persons. Hall tickets, exam centers and roster procedure will be revealed later, officials said.
