TSPSC : Telangana government has given good news to the candidates who are preparing for Group-1. TSPSC has made an important announcement as the Group-1 application deadline ended on Thursday (March 14). The application deadline has been extended by two more days. It has been revealed that you can apply till 16th of this month.
New notification
The previous BRS government had given Group-1 notification in April 2022 with 503 posts. The prelims were held on October 16 of the same year. Results are also announced. However, TSPSC canceled the exam after the issue of question paper leakage came out. Newly 2023, re-examination was conducted on 11th June. But this time the biometric of the candidates was not taken. Because of this, some people approached the High Court and the High Court canceled that examination as well. This led to severe criticism on the performance of TSPSC. The demand for abolition of TSPSC has increased. Allegations were also made against the then Minister KTR PA. Arrests were also made in the leakage case. Meanwhile, assembly elections have come. Congress came to power after the election.

The TSPSC members resigned within a few days after the new government was installed. With this, CM Revanth Reddy purged TSPSC. A new committee was formed. Former DGP Mahender Reddy has been appointed as the Chairman of TSPSC. Later TSPSC canceled the previous group-1 notification. Added 60 new posts and gave a new notification with 623 posts.
Reduced applications..
As the examination has been canceled twice in a row, it seems that the interest in Group-1 among the unemployed has decreased. Previously, 3.80 lakh people applied for Group-1, but this time, despite the increase in posts, the number of applications has decreased. As of Thursday (March 14), 2.7 lakh people have applied. Due to this TSPSC extended the deadline. It is unlikely that applications will cross 3 lakh by the end of the deadline.
