In Telangana, the duty on alcohol is 70 percent.
If you look at the north, there is a lot of difference in the prices of liquor in Delhi and Mumbai. A bottle of Rs.3,100 in Delhi is sold for Rs.4,000 in Mumbai. Governments keep increasing the prices of liquor to meet the demand in those areas. Demand for liquor is high in Telugu states. But recently the prices of liquor have been reduced.
