AP Elections 2024: Politics is going on in AP regarding the deposit of funds for welfare schemes ahead of elections. It is known that the Election Commission has issued orders stopping the welfare schemes implemented by the Jagan government in the past. However, the High Court gave a one-day stay to the state government to release the funds to the beneficiaries in connection with this matter. On Friday, the green signal was given for the one-day release of funds related to the welfare schemes. It has also issued orders not to make any noise in this regard. YCP hopes it will be a game changer. But the opposition is saying that the government is not sincere in this.. People's opinion has changed regarding the welfare schemes.. If the government had the intention to implement it.. the election notification would have been implemented earlier.
For the last five years, Jagan believed in the welfare tarakamantra. Apart from politics, welfare schemes are being implemented. But most of the schemes are cutting the number of beneficiaries. The number of beneficiaries of welfare schemes is decreasing year by year. But looking at the statistics, the YSP leaders have been claiming that theirs is a welfare government. Financial difficulties have been faced in the implementation of welfare schemes for the last five years. The state government has been incurring debts beyond the limit. Now coming to the last year the loan limit has been exceeded. The implementation of the welfare schemes faced difficulties. On the other hand, the ruling BJP at the center has joined the TDP alliance in the state. This also led to non-cooperation from the Centre.
Regarding the schemes that Jagan has pressed since Sankranti this year, funds have not been deposited for many of them. This caused a kind of concern among the beneficiaries. In terms of YSR Asara, Vidya Devena, input subsidy for farmers, the beneficiaries have no need to wait. Some months ago, Jagan pressed the button regarding these schemes. But funds were not deposited. And with the election rules.. the EC has imposed restrictions on the implementation of these welfare schemes. But YCP started alleging that Telugudesam was behind it. But the question arose as to why the funds were not deposited for the schemes that were buttoned months before the election notification. Telugu Desam Party has also raised the same issue. But because of Jagan's credibility in the implementation of welfare schemes, a large percentage of people have come to trust him. At the same time, the anti-government groups and the affected groups are doubting the government's sincerity in implementing the schemes. They say that if the government had sincerity, it would have deposited the funds within two or three days of pressing the button.
