American Telugu Association (ATA) is making those words come true. ATA 18th Convention Youth Conference is being organized from June 7 to 9 this year in Atlanta. As part of this, the organizers of the event are organizing dance competitions in many cities. These dance competitions are called Sayyandi Naadam. The program was named after the song “Jhummandi Naadam.. Sayyandi Padam” from the movie Sirisirimuvva.
Sayyandi Padam dance competition was organized with the theme “Kalu Kadupudam.. Let's win the prize”. These competitions were held in Los Angeles, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Dallas, New Jersey, Austin, Chicago, Charlotte, Washington DC, Philadelphia, etc. Arrangements are being made to organize these competitions in many areas. Organizers are determined to hold these competitions in every village. Thousands of artists have participated in the competitions so far. From seven to 13 years they are divided into juniors, from 14 and then they are divided into seniors. Competitions were held in classical, non-classical, solo and group categories. Artists enthusiastically participated in these competitions. The organizers gave certificates of appreciation to the first and second runners-up.
