Devotees who visit the temple on Sri Rama Navami get a chance to witness this rare moment. A trial run related to this rare sight was also conducted. On the day of Rama Navami, the sun's rays are arranged to fall directly on the forehead of the idol of Rams. The lens is designed with the help of special glasses. The temple trust also revealed that the Surya Tilak arrangements have been completed.

And this Surya Tilak will be unveiled only on Sri Rama Navami day. The process starts at 12 noon. Arrangements were made to let the rays fall on the forehead of the idol of Lord Rama in the sanctum sanctorum for about 6 minutes. This technology has been developed by the Central Building Research Institute under CSIR. The related trial run has been completed. This has also been confirmed by a team of researchers. All in all, the efforts of the researchers have paid off.
