It has been clarified to the Supreme Court that the accused have simultaneously filed 39 quash petitions and 95 discharge petitions to block the investigation on the charge sheets. However, it mentioned that the JIDs were being transferred before ruling on these petitions. It has been revealed that six judges have been transferred so far. The CBI brought to the notice of the court that the accused are powerful and are preventing the investigation from proceeding by filing petitions.
At the same time, the CBI also objected to Raghuramakrishnam Raju's request to transfer the investigation of this case to another state. There are 911 witnesses in Jagan's illegal property cases. All of them are above 50 years of age.. That is why petitioner Raghurama requested not to transfer this trial to another state. CBI, the highest investigating agency, has asked the Supreme Court to assign judges and give orders to conduct day-to-day investigations, stating that the number of judges in the CBI court is not sufficient.
