Why Are Vaccinees Afraid Of Covishield

CoviShield: During the outbreak of Corona, a company called AstraZeneca in collaboration with the University of Oxford and the Serum Institute made the Covi Shield vaccine. It is supplied under various names all over the world. In our country, the Serum Institute in Pune has produced this vaccine.. This vaccine is the first time our country has approved it for emergency use during Corona.. But AstraZeneca, which has made this vaccine, is facing severe criticism.. They say that because of taking the vaccine made by this company, blood clots in their body and they are facing serious side effects. Some filed a case in the English court. A class action lawsuit was filed against this company.

In this context, representatives of AstraZeneca appeared before the court. “Astra Janeca admits side effects from vaccine,” Britain's Telegraph magazine published an article. ” Decrease in platelet count.. in rare cases causes consequences like blood clot formation. This is being treated as thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome,” the Telegraph said in its article.

What is Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome?

Thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome.. in medical terms it is called TTS. Sudden or abnormal blood clots in vital areas of the body and loss of platelets in the blood. Platelets are tiny cells that help blood clot. So if they are low then it is very dangerous for the body. These side effects seem to have occurred in those who took vaccines such as Vax Xevria, Covishield (Astra Janeca), Adeno Viral Vector by Johnson & Johnson during the Covid period. It has come to light that some of the drugs in this vaccine make antibodies that attack the protein that causes blood to clot. It is reported that TTS occurs due to the strong reaction of the body's immune system.

First step

In the first stage of TTS, blood clots form in the small intestine, sometimes in the legs or lungs. Blood also forms small clots in the brain. Blood clots rarely occur in other organs as well. The number of platelets in the blood drops. Platelets fall below 1,50,000 per microliter. TTS can be diagnosed by anti-PF-4 ELISA test. But medical experts say that this test is not necessary in all cases. First stage cases are the most dangerous. Recently, such cases are coming to light among the youth.

Second step

At this stage, blood clots usually form in the legs or lungs. The platelet count falls below 1,50,000 per microliter. It can be confirmed by anti-PF4 ELISA test.

What will happen if TTS comes?

If it gets infected it will cause severe headache. Stomach ache. There are swellings in the legs. Difficulty in breathing. Brain function is affected. The way of thinking changes completely. If anyone faces such problems after taking the vaccine, they should refrain from self-medication and consult a doctor.
