RTC is ready to run double decker buses on an experimental basis.

Routes without fly overs and foot over bridges have been selected. To this end, it has been decided to run a double decker between Secunderabad and Medchal via Suchitra, Secunderabad-Patancheru via Balanagar, Ka Koti-Patancheru via Ameerpet, CBS-GDMAtla and Durgam Cheruvu cable bridges. With this, Switch Mobility, which supplies double-decker buses to many cities in the country, has won tenders for the supply of buses. But the price is not finalized yet.
