Dry Valleys: Generally dry valleys without rain for a few months. We are shaken by the temperature and cold. But millions of years have passed since a tiny trickle fell there. What you heard is true. There is only one such region in the world. For the last 20 million years, no drop of rain has fallen. Nor is it a desert region. An area where the water is permanently frozen. But it turned out to be a drought area.
There are some dry areas on the northern side of the Antarctic continent. These are called dryalis. Not a single drop of rain has fallen here for the last 20 lakh years. It is not even snowing. Scientists say that rainfall is not recorded due to the weather conditions here. Actually the continent of Antarctica is covered with ice. The humidity in the air is high. But there is a dry climate in the region known as Dry Valleys. Due to the surrounding snow mountains, dry winds blow towards the dry valleys without any moisture. Scientists have found that there is no moisture in the air and it does not rain here.
But it will not surprise anyone if there is an area on earth where rain does not fall. But about 23 million years ago, there were heavy rains. It has rained continuously for 20 million years. Scientists say that there was no human survival on earth at that time. Millions of years ago the earth was not divided into continents like it is now. The whole earth was on one side, the sea was on the other side. But due to extreme heat in the atmosphere, sea water evaporated and clouds were formed. Scientists say that this process continued continuously and rains fell for millions of years. But it is strange that there is no rain in Antarctica for 20 million years. Scientists are of the opinion that the weather conditions are the reason for it.. There are no other reasons.
