Free Electricity: Congress is working to implement six guarantees as promised during the assembly elections. As part of this, two guarantees were implemented on the second day of assuming power. Arogyasree limit increased from Rs.5 lakh to Rs.10 lakh. Free travel facility for women in RTC buses. Two more schemes have been launched recently. It has decided to provide 200 units of free electricity and cylinders for Rs.500 from March 1 as part of Grihajyoti scheme.

On February 27, State Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inaugurated two guaranties in Chevella. With this, zero electricity bill came into effect from Friday (March 1). Henceforth, the bill collectors will issue zero bill to electricity consumers within 200 units. Those who have applied in public administration and have a ration card will be issued a Jive bill for 200 units of electricity if they connect with the meter.

So if the owner gets subsidy, the renter does not get it. Electricity officials said that free units will be given on the basis of annual average. If you use more than that, you have to pay the bill. Gas also has a provision that the connection should be in the name of women. With this, 75 percent people are likely to lose their eligibility.
