Hyderabad Metro: Passengers continue to connect with Hyderabad Metro Rail, which is recognized as the third longest metro network in the country. The organization has announced that 50 crore people have traveled on the metro since its inception till now (in six and a half years). It has been revealed that an average of 5 lakh people are reaching their destination by metro every day. On this occasion, L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail Corporation launched the customer and Greenmile Loyalty Club on Friday (May 3).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the metro train in Hyderabad on November 29, 2017. First, metro services started from Miyapur on the Ameerpet-Nagol route. In the next 5 phases, the entire 69.2 km metro line was made available. 2.5 lakh people travel regularly on Corridor-1 Miyapur to LB Nagar route. Corridor-3 Nagol – Rayadurgam route is also congested. Corridor – 2 From JBS to MGBS only half is available so the number of passengers traveling on this route is negligible.

In total, on an average, 5 lakh people travel in Hyderabad Metro. It is noteworthy that 1.50 lakh people are IT employees. 1.20 lakh students continue to travel regularly, 40 crore people have traveled till July 2023, and another 10 crore people have traveled within 9 months.

And the travel charges in metro trains are cheap. Provides comfortable travel. No traffic jams. It is gaining popularity from people day by day. This is creating records. There are not enough metro trains in the morning and evening hours, causing inconvenience to passengers. The previous government ordered trains to be run on hire. But with the change of government, the proposal got stuck.
