Captain Gill (31; three fours, one six in 22 balls) and wicketkeeper Vriddhi Mann (19; four fours in 15 balls) added 31 runs for the first wicket. With this pair becoming dangerous, Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma bowled to Jaspreet Bumrah. Bumrah bowled the first 5 balls differently and hit the last ball as a yorker. Vriddhiman Saha misjudged the ball and was clean bowled. As soon as he knew what was going on.. he was defeated by Bumrah. The video was posted by the Indian Premier League on its official Twitter handle. This video has already registered thousands of views.
After Wriddhiman was out, Gill tried to play fast. In this sequence, when he was at 31 runs, Piyush Chawla tried to play a huge shot in the bowling. But that ball was received by Rohit Sharma who was at the boundary line. Gill reached the pavilion disappointed. Meanwhile, Bumrah is a master of yorker-style balls. He showed his strength in the recent England series through such varied bowling. He played his part in the series win. Bumrah is currently playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL. Saha sent a warning to the Gujarat team by taking the wicket. He said that it is not easy to play in his bowling.
