Prime Minister Modi has visited the southern states 120 times in the last ten years. But out of that 64 were official programs and 56 were party trips. This can be understood. In the last election, BJP lost badly in AP. Only 0.97 votes were received. In Kerala, 12 percent of the votes were not won. Tamil Nadu got 3.6% votes. This time BJP is targeting 10 seats in Telangana. In Karnataka also it has allied with GDS. In AP, TDP and Jana Sena fought together. It seems that 60 seats have been targeted in the southern states. BJP hopes that if it gets more than 300 seats in the northern and northeastern states, it will reach its target. But how well it works out remains to be seen.
