First Phase Lok Sabha Election 2024 These Parliamentary Seats Are Special Because

Lok Sabha Election 2024: Parliament elections will be held in seven phases in our country. The first phase of polling will be held on April 19. Elections will be held for 102 parliamentary seats in 21 states. The polling will be conducted in seven phases and the results will be announced on June 4. But in the first phase, in the context of elections for 102 parliamentary seats.. the fight in some segments is very interesting.. because..

Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

There are total 39 parliamentary constituencies in the state of Tamil Nadu. In the 2019 elections, the BJP did not win a single parliamentary seat in this state. With this, BJP hopes to open an account in that state anyway. BJP Tamil Nadu president Annamalai is contesting from this seat. In the background of his competition, betting on his victory is going on.

Nagpur, Maharashtra

Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari is contesting from this seat. The region is famous for oranges. Moreover, the headquarters of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh is located here. Nitin Gadkari is campaigning hard to win this seat.

Manipur

Elections will be held in two phases for two seats in this state. Voting will be held in one constituency in the first phase on April 19 and in another constituency in the second phase on April 26. 200 people were killed in recent clashes in Manipur region. In this context, the elections held here have gained importance.

Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh

In 2013, there were massive riots here. Political analysts say that this parliamentary constituency was instrumental in BJP winning 72 seats in 2014. Despite the large number of Muslim voters in this constituency, the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate won in 2014 and 2019 elections. But this time BJP is hoping to win the election here and score a hat-trick.

Among the states where polling will take place in the first phase, Tamil Nadu is under DMK administration. BJP is in power in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. BJP is in power through alliances in Nagaland, Sikkim and Puducherry. Andaman, Nicobar and Lakshadweep regions are administered by the central government. Jammu and Kashmir is under President's rule despite the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019. Trinamool Congress party is in power in the state of West Bengal. Mizoram state is ruled by Zoram People's Movement.

Out of the 102 seats to be held in the first phase, 45 seats have candidates belonging to the India Alliance as MPs. Of the rest, only 42 seats were won by the BJP-led NDA. In the last election, DMK had won the state of Tamil Nadu. DMK won 23 parliamentary seats and Congress won 8 parliamentary seats. And the Congress party won the Kaliabor constituency in the state of Assam in the last election. In the same state, BJP won the seat of Tezpur. But in that place on April 26 i.e., polling will be held in the second phase.
