This masala is manufactured by MDH Private Limited and Everest Food Product Private Limited companies of our country. Hong Kong has announced a ban on spices belonging to these two companies. Recently, the government of Singapore has announced that its research has shown that Everest spices contain excessive levels of ethylene oxide. That is why it announced that its import has been stopped. The country is ready to take legal action against the company that is using hazardous materials at this level.
Recently, the Hong Kong Center for Food Safety Authority conducted routine inspections on April 5. As part of this, the Hong Kong government has announced that ethylene oxide has been detected in curry powder and sambar masala powder manufactured by MDH Group. The CSF conducted inspections at three MDH layouts in Tsim Sha Tsui, a popular tourist destination in Yau Tsim Maung state. It was found that the spices contain the pesticide ethylene oxide. With this, orders have been issued to stop the sale of spices.
The CSF has announced that pesticide residue has been detected in the fish curry spices prepared by the Everest company. In this context, the countries of Hong Kong and Singapore have taken action against companies manufacturing spices in our country. Moreover, orders have been issued for the recall of those days. The Singapore Food Agency has issued orders that people should not consume products manufactured by the Everest Company. Moreover, the Singapore Food Agency has again explained the instructions issued by the Hong Kong Food Safety Department. If you consume food items containing ethylene oxide, there is a risk of breast cancer.. This has been known in the research done by the International Agency for Research under the auspices of the World Health Organization. In this context, the governments of Singapore and Hong Kong have imposed a ban on the spices manufactured by Everest. And the Government of India has not made any announcement on this so far. On the other hand, Everest Company also did not respond.
