Nagabhushanam: In films, the role of the villain should match the Hero. That's when the end of the movie gets interesting. And then the audience who watches the movie also likes to watch the movie with great interest. But now many villains in the Telugu film industry are earning a good name by acting in other languages. But there are many Actors in Telugu who once played the role of every leader and impressed. Nagabhushanam is one of them. And we can understand that he is playing the role of every leader in a movie, which means that he is showing a very diverse performance in that role.
Because in his life he has played many types of villain roles. If this is the case, he was born on 29th March 1922 in Prakasam district of Anakarpudi. He faced many difficulties in his career after studying Nagabhushanam Intermediate and also got a job in the office of the Central Commercial Superintendent… and his wife died in the year 1941. Nagabhushanam then faced many difficulties and then married another woman named Sasirekha.
With his interest in the film industry, he also started trying in films while doing a job in Naga Bhushanam. And as a part of that, in the year 1954, he got an opportunity to act in the movie 'Palleturu'. And with that, he showed his talent and took the film forward towards success. Since then he has become a top villain in the industry by doing consecutive films. The films like Amara Sandesham, Penki Pellam, Khetu Tajja, Nidhi Bishyaru brought him good recognition as a villain…
It must be said that he not only acted in mythological films like Mayabazaar and Kurukshetram but also brought life to his characters. And Rao Gopal Rao got a good reputation by playing villain roles copying every Hero role he played in the movie Adjui Ramudu…and he established a welfare fund for film workers. He satisfied the hunger of artistes for almost 25 years through his Rakta Kanniru drama.
Apart from playing the role of a villain in Movies, he is a Hero in real life… He became a producer and produced some Movies too… His death on 5th May 1995 was an irreversible blow to the Telugu film industry… It has been almost 29 years since his death. And today, on the occasion of his death, every film fan is also remembering him…
