TSPSC is not interested..

RTC has been doing its own internal recruitment for decades. But, the previous BRS government questioned this policy. While TSPSC supervises all kinds of appointments in government institutions, the organization has objected to the RTC. RTC has decided to start filling vacancies for the first time due to lack of appointments during the previous government. In this order the question of appointment arose. The government has directed TSPSC to monitor the selection of jobs. In this order, the recruitment process of junior assistant jobs in personnel and finance departments has been undertaken first. But at that time no appointments were made. When the Congress government came, the appointment orders were issued. However, TSPSC raised its hands on the appointment of drivers and conductors. RTC has said that it cannot take up the process of filling up the posts as it is busy filling up other posts.

Police Recruitment Board

After discussing this matter, the government has finally decided to make appointments through the Police Recruitment Board. Meanwhile, the process was stopped due to the notification of the election. At present, there is a need to increase the number of buses in view of free travel in RTC buses for women. With this, RTC proposed to the government that 8 thousand drivers and conductors are needed. The examined government has given permission to fill up 3 thousand jobs. It has 2000 drivers, conductors and 1000 employees of other departments. The recruitment process will start as soon as the CM gives the green signal.
