TDP candidate: Financially strong leaders are contesting in this election in AP. In the context of submitting the election affidavit, the leaders have to disclose the details of their assets. But Dr. Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, who is contesting as a TDP candidate from Guntur MP position, has declared in his affidavit that he has a record amount of assets in the country. Probably many leaders across the country have filed nominations so far. But so far the value of assets at this level has not been declared. Currently, this has become a discussion across the country.
Pemmasani Chandrasekhar is an AP doctor settled in America. Born in Guntur district, Chandrasekhar studied in India till MBBS. Later he went to America for higher studies. After completing his studies, he settled in the medical field while working there. Started an online educate company for students preparing for medical entrance in America named U World. Besides this there are other businesses. Financially rich too. But he entered politics with the idea of doing something for his own area. Even though Chandrasekhar has been in America for a long time, he can speak Telugu fluently. Has a clear understanding of AP politics along with national politics. That's why he joined Telugu Desam Party and got Guntur MP ticket. Galla Jayadev, who contested as an MP in the last election, won. He recently quit politics. Chandrababu chose Chandrasekhar to replace him.
Recently, Chandrasekhar filed his nomination for the Guntur Parliament seat. The details of his assets and debts have been included in the affidavit. He disclosed that he has assets worth Rs 5700 crore. It was shown that the property worth 2316 crores is in his name. Another 2289 crores is said to be in the name of wife Shri Ratna. It was shown that he and his wife were equally in debt. He said that if he has a debt of 519 crores, he has a debt of 519 crores in the name of his wife. He said that he has shares worth 1200 crore rupees in JPM Investments. Another 1200 crore shares are in his wife's name.
They explained that they have two Mercedes Benz, Tesla, Rolls Royce and Toyota Partur cars. It has been clarified that the letters will be valued at 6.11 crores. 5.97 crores in his name and 5.90 crores in his wife's name were shown in the bank account. He said that his wife and children have gold ornaments worth 6.86 crores, agricultural land worth 2.67 crores in Guntur district and agricultural land worth 2.33 crores in Krishna district. It was explained that there is non-agricultural land worth 28.10 crores in Hyderabad. Chandrasekhar has stated in his affidavit that he has valuable buildings in America, Hyderabad and Delhi. But political sources say that Pemmasani Chandrasekhar's properties are worth more in the affidavits of the leaders so far.
