TDP Janasena BJP Alliance: Announcement of candidates of all parties in AP has come to a conclusion. First of all, YCP announced candidates for Assembly seats as well as Parliament seats. There is clarity in this alliance as well. Then the leaders of the parties entered the campaign season. But internally there are some issues to be resolved. YCP has taken precautions in this regard. Jagan has succeeded in ensuring that there is no dissension even after changing the candidates. But the Telugu Desam Party sacrificed seats in the alliance. Due to this, many leaders lost their opportunities. Also, many leaders did not get tickets as they did not get the seats they wanted in Jana Sena and BJP. As a result, all three parties are bound to be unhappy.
The Telugu Desam Party has also allocated some constituencies to the Jana Sena along with the BJP. TDP is strong there. Naturally, along with the leaders, the cadre will express their dissatisfaction. In many places TDP in-charges are preparing to contest as independents. There are about ten such seats. The responsibility of ensuring that there are no rebels has fallen on the Telugu Desam Party. That is why the high command appointed the messengers. They are now trying to fix it.
But in BJP there are worse situations. Leaders working in favor of YCP did not get seats there. They are angry with this. There is a situation of cooperation with YCP behind the scenes in the elections. There is a criticism that only the leaders who are favorable to Chandrababu got BJP tickets. It is being spread that the disgruntled BJP will try to defeat them. It should be overcome by the BJP high command.
There is criticism that even Janasena could not get the expected seats. There is some kind of unhappiness among the cadre too that Pawan has conceded to less seats. Even the seats allotted to Jana Sena had to be adjusted to BJP. Leaders everywhere are unhappy with this. They are also preparing to leave the party. They should be prevented from going to other parties. Cadre should be stopped from following them. A proper strategy should be formulated regarding vote transfer. First of all these three parties have to step into the public sphere after putting these in the groove. Otherwise, analysts are of the opinion that the alliance will cause more harm than good.
