Actually we worship the cobra. We worship the cobras so that they do not cause any harm while going to the fields. In fact, Hindus consider the cobra to be a form of Vishnu and Shiva. Adisesha as panpu for Vishnu and Nagas as Vasuki around Shiva's neck have given them the most importance in the Puranas. That's why it is customary to pour milk and perform pujas on Panchami and Chavithi Tiths that come every month. So far so good but a family brought a cobra together and put it on a plate and worshiped it. The snake was hissing in fear but not counting. They are worshiping with ecstasy of devotion. Now this video has gone viral on social media.
But it is not known where this video is.. which state the family belongs to.. why it was done. Someone posted the video taken while they were worshiping on social media. It is being trolled across the country. But the people in it seem to belong to the northern state. Most of the people are commenting that it is not appropriate to act foolishly out of devotion.. It is harmful to life. They are wrong in what they have done.
