Visakhapatnam: A huge seizure of drugs on the coast of Visakhapatnam has created a sensation. An international drug gang has been shut down. Officials found 25,000 kg of narcotics in a container that came from Brazil to a private Aqua Exports in Visakhapatnam. The CBI officials were alerted by the information given by Interpol. Customs officials along with CBI in Visakha were alerted. In this order, the special team that entered the field caught the container. The investigation was started after they found heavy drugs in it. This investigation conducted under the name of Operation Garuda has created a cine frenzy.
The CBI officials found that the container reached Visakhapatnam on 16th of this month via Hamburg, Germany. On 19th of this month, a team of CBI officers who came with narcotics supplies and experts confirmed that there were drugs in that container. Later the container was seized. This container, which came to Visakha from Santos Port in Brazil, was booked for delivery to a private company named Consigs in Visakha. It seems that these drugs were moved with a clear plan. It seems that it was supplied in 1,000 bags of 25 kg each. A team of CBI officers seized these 25 thousand kg of drugs mixed with dry yeast.
But this is the biggest operation undertaken by CBI. It was named Garuda. In the past, the CBI has conducted several operations under the NDPS Act to frame the games of the international drug racket gang based on the information provided by Interpol. Officials are investigating the quantity of narcotics in the entire shipment. It is being spread that some political leaders are involved in this. Various names are coming up on social media. Especially the names of TDP leaders are heard. So far the CBI officials have not revealed anyone's name. But deep investigation is going on.
