There are seven assembly seats under Visakhapatnam constituency. Four constituencies of Visakha city, Gajuwaka, Bhimili and Sringavarapukota constituency of Vizianagaram district are under the jurisdiction of Visakha Lok Sabha. Minister Botsa Satyanarayana is trying his best to win over his wife here. However, YCP seems to be strong in the southern constituency of Visakhapatnam. The party has an edge in the north as well. TDP is strong in East. Gajuwakalo is in favor of TDP. There is a chance of getting a huge majority in Bhimili. In the Sringavarapukota constituency, the ruling party MLC's wife along with the majority cadre have shifted towards TDP. YSP is facing difficult situation there. But losing with a small majority in the past seems sympathetic towards India.
Botsa Jhansi Lakshmi belongs to a strong social class, this seat has become hot due to the reasons like Minister Botsa knows the election campaign. Both the parties took the victory with pride. In the last election, YCP won this seat with 8000 votes. At that time, JD Lakshminarayana, who contested as a Jana Sena candidate, won two and a half lakh votes.
