Recently Election Commission gave a shock to Ponnuru YCP candidate Ambati Muralikrishna. A case was registered against him on the orders of the EC. He staged a dharna on 13th of this month in violation of the election code of conduct. The EC responded after the TDP complained to the Election Commission. The Collector of Guntur has been ordered to give a report. With the report given by the Collector, the Election Commission issued clear instructions to the state government. The police received orders from the district collector to register a case against him immediately. But as the polling is approaching, if we see cases against officials on one side and YCP candidates on the other side, it seems that the situation is going to get worse in the future.
