AP Telangana Elections: As part of the general election process, the first phase will begin on Thursday. As part of the election schedule, the election notification for 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, 175 assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh and 25 Lok Sabha seats will be released on Thursday (April 18). The gazette notification will be released at 9 am. The process of accepting nominations will also start immediately.

The Central Election Commission has decided to hold the parliamentary elections in 7 phases across the country. As a part of this, the notification regarding the elections to be held in three phases has already been released. The first round of elections will also be held on Thursday (April 18). In this order, the process of nominations for the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections is also going to start on Thursday (April 18). Elections to 96 Lok Sabha seats in 10 states including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will be held in the fourth phase. Nominations will be accepted from Thursday onwards. Nominations will be accepted till 25th of this month. Nominations will be considered on 26th. Deadline for withdrawal of nominations till 29. Polling will be held on May 13. The results will be announced on June 4.
All surveys are closed.
Surveys will come to a full stop in the wake of notification for elections in Telangana and AP on April 18. No organization or person should conduct surveys related to elections. The results should not be disclosed to the public. Neither prepoll survey nor opinion poll survey nor item wise survey should be conducted. Do not declare results. The results of the exit poll survey can be announced on June 1 after the seven-phase elections are over.
