The Central Election Commission has issued orders to send the names and details of the three DG rank IPS officers to the panel list by 11 am on Monday. Chief Secretary KS Jawahar Reddy has been directed to send the details of their APAR grading and vigilance clearances in the last five years along with the panel. But RTC MD CH Dwaraka Tirumala Rao is likely to be promoted as AP DGP. He is a 1990 batch IPS officer. He is second in the seniority list. After that, Road Safety Authority Chairman, 1990 batch IPS officer Anjana Simha, 1991 batch IPS officer Madireddy Pratap. The names of these three are likely to be sent in the panel list. If any one of these three is not wanted, there are possibilities to consider the name of Harish Kumar Gupta, a 1992 batch IPS officer who is the Chief Secretary of the Home Department. On the whole, a week before the polling in AP, the transfer of the DGP became a priority.
