The Telugu Desam Party has taken the position that if that seat is given to the BJP, it will have an effect within the assembly seats. BC leader Parthasaradhi was announced as the candidate. From then on, Swami Privrananda, who was angry, made efforts till the end. He directly met TDP leader Chandrababu. However, he did not work out, so he contested as an independent.

It is reported that he is contesting as an independent just out of anger against Balakrishna.. It is reported that he came to this decision thinking that Balakrishna was the first person to prevent him from getting a ticket. But TDP has not lost in this constituency till now.
