Five Captains Out Of Ipl The Reason

IPL 2024: As liberal as BCCI is on payment of money, provision of facilities, etc., it will be strict on discipline. No matter how big the players are, no exception will be made. The way Hardik Pandya behaves, Rohit Sharma also behaves in the same way. But, in the current IPL 17th season, the captains of some teams are violating the rules. Cricket is a gentleman's game and requires discipline. As a result BCCI is cracking the whip. It is preparing to ban five captains simultaneously.

Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer, Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson, Delhi captain Rishabh Pant, Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill and Mumbai captain Hardik Pandya are among the players who will be banned by the BCCI in the IPL. Of course they are all legendary players. A gentleman's game is played on the field. Gives an excellent performance. He excels in batting, bowling and fielding. But BCCI is very angry with them.

So far IPL 17th season has completed half of the league matches. Almost all teams played seven matches each. Rajasthan team is at the first position in the points table, followed by Kolkata at the second position, Chennai at the third position and Hyderabad at the fourth position. Bangalore is at the last position. Among these teams, Delhi captain Pant, Gujarat captain Gill and Mumbai captain Hardik Pandya are in danger of being banned for one match in the IPL season.

There are allegations that the captains of these teams are committing slow over-rate. BCCI has already levied fine on the captains of those five teams. If they make that mistake again, they will be banned for one match. Lucknow team captain KL Rahul and Chennai team captain Rutu Raj Gaikwad continued their slow over-rate in Friday's match, and the BCCI imposed a fine of Rs 12 lakh each on them.

In the recent match between Punjab and Mumbai teams, the Mumbai team failed to complete the overs in the stipulated time. BCCI has taken action against the captain of that team, Hardik Pandya. 12 lakh fine was imposed. Mumbai captain Hardik Pandya is likely to be banned for one match if he does this again.

Delhi and Gujarat continued their slow over-rate ahead of the Mumbai team. Due to this, BCCI imposed delinquency fee on Delhi captain Pant and Gujarat captain Gill. The Delhi Capitals skipper has already continued to slow overrate twice. 24 lakh fined. Not only him, Kolkata captain Iyer and Rajasthan captain Sanju Samson also paid a fine to BCCI as they continued their slow over rate.
